Didsbury Women’s Cricket Club was formed in 2010 in a bid to encourage more female players to try the sport. After the 1st XI's success in the Cheshire Women's League, the club went from strength to strength and in 2016 we formed our 2 XI. Our most recent success was making it to the Cheshire Development League Knockout final in 2019.
The team currently consists of women from different sporting backgrounds, ages and ability. We welcome both experienced and new players so if you fancy trying out cricket but don’t know the difference between your googly and your mullygrubber don’t worry, the most important thing is that we are a friendly bunch and want to spread our love for cricket!
